The Arts Therapies within CoPD/Medico Legal and Case Management

Have you ever worked with a creative arts therapist? Creative Arts Therapies take a person centred and collaborative approach to providing rehab through using music, art or drama as a treatment modality. Today we’ll explore what might happen in a therapy session, take a whistle stop tour through the evidence that informs why it works and what the outcomes look like. We will look at best practice, provide video-based case studies and take a snapshot of what’s happening in the brain when we engage in the creative arts. There will be time for discussion and questions. By then end of the session we are aiming for you to be able to consider “Asking Cath”  - Can Arts Therapies Help?
