Following on from the success of our first meeting with members of APIL's Executive Committee in July, we are pleased to announce that three webinars have been scheduled for 2022.

Covering current issues and hot topics, our first webinar will have a particular focus on serious injury, children and sports injuries and will be delivered by:

  • Sam Elsby, Immediate Past President - wide-ranging caseload, with particular expertise in child/adolescent brain injury cases, fast-track trial advocacy and inquests.  Also a Court of Protection Deputy
  • Guy Forster, EC member - wide-ranging practice, including birth injury, brain and spinal cord injury, fatal accidents and inquests, delays in diagnosis and surgical error.  Passionate about patient safety
  • Jill Greenfield, Treasurer - caseload including brain damage, amputation, spinal cord injury, fatalities, sexual assaults in particular against high profile individuals and other serious injury cases in the UK and internationally, as well as terrorism and group actions
  • Michael Imperato, EC member - head of public law/administrative law at an innovative high street firm and author of the chapter on Sports Personal Injury for the APIL/Lexis Nexis publication "Personal Injury Law, Practice and Precedents"
  • John McQuater, Secretary - Past President, APIL Senior Fellow, and Digest Editor of JPIL.  Author of a number of APIL Lexis Nexis guides, published articles, and regular trainer for APIL in all areas of personal injury.  Passionate about Part 36 offers
  • Suzanne Trask, EC member - specific expertise in complex claims involving serious brain injuries in adults, passionate about rehabilitation and resolving claims swiftly and without delay

Members are invited to send in questions before the webinar so that they can be collated, considered and answered on the day
