The Supreme Court in Meadows v Khan have given guidance on the proper approach to claims based in negligence when there are issues about the scope of duty or remoteness of damage.

This webinar will:

  • Explain the background
  • Identify the legal issues arising from the case
  • Explore the guidance given by the Supreme Court which may need to be applied to all negligence claims in the future
  • Explain how this fits around the existing law on causation and what that means, in particular, for clinical negligence claims
  • Help to ensure that claims, applying the law as now clarified, are properly investigated and presented
