Overview

This webinar, suitable for practitioners with all levels of experience, will look at the latest cases relating to dishonesty by defendants and allegations of dishonesty against honest claimants. Delegates will gain insight into how courts assess honesty and dishonesty in personal injury litigation and the practical implications for case management.

The session will provide delegates with the essential law for dealing with both substantive stages and costs issues. Key topics include common law principles, statutory provisions, professional standards, and procedural considerations in handling allegations of dishonesty.

Through examples of defendant dishonesty and honest claimants accused of dishonesty, the webinar will explore the current disparities in practice, the need for integrity and consistency, and the implications for future case law and litigation strategy.
